Noble has been a BC high school educator since 1991 specifically in business, computer science and ICT courses, and is currently teaching IB Business and Economics at Brockton. His passion for global and lifelong learning is evident in his education, work experience and interests. His education started in the Honours Computer Science program at University of Manitoba, completing his Commerce degree at the University of Texas, and then his Secondary Teaching and Masters of Adult Learning and Global Change degrees at UBC. In 2006, he founded the NGO, Education Beyond Borders (http://www.educationbeyondborders.org/), that trains and mentors teachers in marginalized regions internationally in global best practices in teaching and learning. As an avid traveler (66 countries and counting) and amateur photographer, he believes you never stop learning. Noble advocates for learning in real-world contexts whether local or global, which is an integral part of the courses he teaches, and he strives to inspire risk-taking and agency in his students.
