The BCAIBWS Executive

Ben Tait

Mulgrave School
Senior School Teacher
Until recently the Head of Teacher Training at L.E.H.S. in London, UK, Ben has a long-term research interest in the evaluation and assessment of hard-to-trace learning processes, most recently focusing on practical, classroom applications for some emerging research into assessment-as-learning. As part of a wider drive to develop healthier student attitudes towards their school assessments, Ben has developed a set of resources to help teachers re-frame their students’ attitudes towards testing. The aim of this collaborative session is to think through any potential application to MYP and DP pathways, sharing experience of practice-as-research along the way.
